Dartmoor Creatures - Blue
Delight in my artistic renditions of the captivating creatures that grace the landscapes of Dartmoor, both big and small. From the vibrant green shield bug to the elusive cuckoo, each discovery has presented its unique challenge. If pressed to choose a favourite, the pygmy shrew holds a special place in my heart. Employing a blend of techniques, including screen-printing and meticulous pencil colouring, I have breathed life into these creatures, capturing their essence with utmost care and attention to detail.
Colour Description:
The background colour blue is from the original hand mixed, screen-print inks. Coloured pencils were used for the black, dark blue and yellow details.
